Who is behind Bread + Butter?

Ronke Oke BEM

Ronke spent over 25 years working as a PR professional, with several of those years at some of the most sought-after PR agencies in London – including Freuds, Shine Communications and Attenborough Associates, working on a national campaigns and media activity with some of the world’s biggest brands.


Working at the agency and as an independent practitioner, she has specialised in developing and delivering strategic creative campaigns for brands within the fashion, entertainment, FMCG and tech including Paramount Home Entertainment, Krispy Kreme, Samsung, Timberland, Quiksilver, Roxy, Channel 4, Budweiser, ECB, Filofax, Ted Baker, FCUK, Kiss 100 (agency); and shoe brand Ascot Footwear, actors Jimmy Akingbola and Jason Maza, TV presenter Angellica Bell and restaurateur Adebola Adeshina, under Bread + Butter since 2005.


Ronke was hired as UK Liaison for the long standing International Creative & Music Director for Destiny’s Child and Beyonce Knowles, to manage UK promo activity for American R&B artist Nikki Jane (2008). Following the success of this appointment she was hired again to work within the same role for Beyonce's "I AM..." World Tour (2009) and for the ITV Christmas Special “A Night with Beyonce” (2011).


Current clients for who Ronke manages PR activity and talent management include: leading blood cancer charity ACLT (African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust), contemporary talking therapies practice Talking Therapy Clinic, Psychotherapist Nathaniel Oke and Thelma Mensah, Creator of women's health, wellness & luxury brand After9 Lifestyle.
